Vivo’s new foldable phone may be coming soon, chipset and camera details leaked
As Vivo prepared to launch the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro in India, the company is reportedy also preparing to launch its next-generation foldable smartphons, the Vivo X Fold 3.
- Vivo is preparing to launch Vivo X Fold 3, a successor to Vivo X Fold 2.
- The phone is rumoured to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and a 2K display.
- The Vivo X Fold 3 is also expected to come with a triple camera unit at the rear, with a 50-megapixel main camera.
Vivo launched the Vivo X Fold 2 in April this year, but the smartphone was only launched in China. Now, the company is getting ready to launch the successor to the Vivo foldable smartphone –– the Vivo X Fold 3. While there is no news if the foldable will be launched outside the Chinese market this time, we believe there are chances that the company may at least showcase it in the Indian market, given the growing popularity of foldables in India. This year, Xiaomi –– that has also made three generations of its foldable phones and has only launched them in its home market –– showcased the MIX Fold 3 to journalists in India.
